PWP's pressure treated wood posts meet industry specifications for retention and chemical penetration. Species include lodgepole pine, douglas fir and ponderosa pine. Treatments include ACQ, CCA (depending upon application), penta and copper naphthenate.

At PWP, we use durable tree species when producing our wood posts. We then treat each wood post so that it will receive the maximum penetration and protection from wood destroying decay fungi and insects. Each of our facilities carries a variety of different treatment solutions, so they can apply the one that will best suit the wooden post’s specific purpose. Besides offering the strongest protection against the elements, all of our treatment solutions meet the standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The treated wood posts we manufacture lend themselves well to multiple functions, from agricultural vineyard posts, fences to sign posts and more. While we manufacture our wood fence posts from start to finish, customers who already have posts can bring them in to be treated (TSO).
