We are proud to continue making significant investments in safeguards to protect our community and the environment — voluntarily. We have invested nearly $230,000 in energy-saving measures to reduce our energy use and emissions, earning us DOE’s Energy Champion Plant designation.

And our commitment doesn’t stop there. Recently, when a small group of citizens noticed an odor in their neighborhood, we worked cooperatively with governing agencies in their efforts to explore sources of that odor and continue to do so, even though a review by the state agency regulating air pollution cleared NWP.
Why do we do it? Because NWP is dedicated to being a positive community partner offering environmentally-friendly, family-friendly, employee-friendly possibilities in the land of opportunity called Silver Springs.
